Symantec Enterprise Security, a division of Broadcom, offers leading solutions in information security:
Symantec (Bluecoat) Secure Web Gateway — the world's best and trusted web proxy solution, renowned by thousands of clients globally. It features a high-performance web proxy server with reliable user authentication, URL categorization, SSL decryption, management and reporting system, antivirus scanning with four engines including Kaspersky, and file analysis in a local or cloud sandbox. Available as virtual or physical appliances, it is used by major telecommunications companies and banks.
Symantec Endpoint Security Complete — a leading antivirus solution with a long history of protecting major companies in Russia and around the world, providing comprehensive endpoint protection against various threats. It includes over 10 proactive threat protection technologies, local and cloud-based management services, mobile device protection, an Active Directory protection module, as well as a complete EDR and Threat Hunting modules, all within a single license and agent.
Symantec Data Loss Prevention Core — a system for minimizing the risk of confidential information leaks at endpoints, in email, web, and storage. It includes a module for recognizing confidential information in images, as well as a user behavior analysis system (Information Centric Analytics) (UBA). All DLP detection modules adhere to unified DLP policies. The system servers are available as software for Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, while the agents are available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS.
Symantec Data Loss Prevention Cloud — a system for minimizing the risk of confidential information leaks in the cloud. The cloud detection services included in the solution are managed by a local management server using the same unified DLP policies as the other DLP modules. The package includes CloudSOC CASB Gatelet and Securlet, along with the DLP Cloud Detection Service, allowing for both synchronous and asynchronous monitoring of confidential information usage in cloud applications, as well as the DLP Cloud Detection Service for monitoring confidential information in email traffic.
Symantec Web Isolation — providing the most secure and protected isolated access for employees to the web through remote browsing technology. This is the best alternative to "secure browsing" based on terminal servers, as it is more user-friendly, offers more control methods, and requires several times fewer resources. It is delivered as virtual appliances or a cloud service. Only this solution allows for controlling the content transmitted through web messengers such as Telegram and WhatsApp and other similar web applications, as well as making the most risky websites accessible only in read-only mode.
Secure Access Cloud — providing secure access for employees to cloud and local applications from any PC using a Zero Trust model. Supports web applications, RDP servers, SSH servers, and TCP tunnels over SSH. Features built-in multi-factor authentication, customization of HTTP request and response forwarding, and SSH console command logging. It is the best alternative to VPN, as it is more secure and user-friendly than VPN. Delivered as a cloud service with a cloud-based web console. Easy to deploy — for access to local applications, it is sufficient to deploy a gateway connector provided as a Docker container. No need to install agents on PCs.
Symantec VIP — two-factor authentication. Delivered as a cloud service with a cloud-based web console. Software tokens for Android/iOS smartphones are available as a free public application with push authentication support. Integration with dozens of well-known systems (VPN gateways, single sign-on portals, IIS and Apache web servers, Windows and Linux endpoints and servers). Self-service portal with the ability to reset expired passwords in Active Directory. Easy deployment — integration with cloud services requires deploying the VIP Enterprise Gateway, available as software for MS Windows and Linux. Integration with hardware tokens and smart cards is also available.
Symantec Data Center Security — application control on critical Windows and Linux/Unix servers, threat detection based on event monitoring, and real-time file change monitoring. Assigns a "capsule" to each process in the system and prohibits anything that is not explicitly allowed. Can operate in monitoring mode. Includes a profiling feature for "capsules" for user applications. "Capsules" for known applications are pre-profiled out of the box. Protects against unpatched systems, zero-day vulnerabilities, raw device access, and buffer overflows. Server software is provided for Microsoft Windows servers, while agents are available for Windows, Linux, and Unix.
Symantec Privileged Access Management — prevention of security breaches by protecting confidential administrator credentials, controlling privileged user access, proactively applying security policies, and monitoring and recording the actions of privileged users in virtual, cloud, and physical environments. The solution provides privileged credential storage, session recording, threat analytics, host-based access management for critical servers, and password management between applications for interacting with non-human entities such as applications, configuration files, and scripts.
Symantec Web Protection Suite (WPS) allows users of Secure Web Gateway with on-premises solutions to effectively support their remote employees without the need for transit traffic or a complete overhaul of their security stack. The package enhances business flexibility by supporting any combination of centrally managed clouds and on-premises user groups, including fully cloud-based deployments, thereby improving the ROI of existing investments, policies, and expertise.
